This Los Angeles County public awareness video addresses the signs of human trafficking in the wake of climate disasters. Released to mark Human Trafficking Awareness Month and the first anniversary of the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, the video features Miranda Pond — a survivor of post-disaster exploitation — alongside expert testimony from the Office of Labor Equity. The video is part of a public campaign to educate residents and service providers on recognizing and preventing trafficking after major disasters.
